Greg E. Johnson, the author of “The King of Charnley Farm”, holds degrees in entomology and crop and soil science from Oregon State University.

Greg grew up in London, England, where, amongst other activities, time was spent living adventures inside the pages of mystery stories and visiting his beekeeping neighbor.  

Further adventures lead to studying entomology at university, many diverse careers, and writing The King of Charnley Farm. 

Before becoming an author, Greg worked as an environmental scientist and has authored several technical papers and reports. He has also published an article on “The Soil Foodweb” during college and won runner-up in a military-wide essay competition.

Greg’s unique background in science and entomology sets him apart from other mystery authors, as his characters incorporate scientific knowledge to solve mysteries. His curiosity and passion for the subject shine through in his writing, which makes his work informative and engaging for readers.

Greg is the father of three and resides in California.
